Ah, rules to live by- for me this time of year is a time of reflection. I don't make resolutions (must be the whole "push me, pull me, pull me out" thing) but I take one thought/feeling from the year that I have learned and I write them in my Lifetime of Lessons book. This year is "Its not how much we love but how much we are loved by others". 2009 brought me much physical and emotional pain but through that I saw and felt how much I was loved by my family and friends and even strangers. This is the most valuable precious thing in a my life and the only thing I will take with me when I leave this world.
1. See Pearl Jam
2. Take more risks
3. Lose some weight before I start college
4. See Pearl Jam some more

2) Start my prescription of Champex to help me quit.
3) Save money from job and not smoking and see Pearl Jam where ever they hold thier 20th Aniversary.
Well I am going with the typical stop smoking. And I am gonna stop texting while driving. I hardly ever do it but I am not going to do it at all anymore.
To reduce my carbon footprint. I've already begun this resolution actually.
Yay for free student bus passes.
7/2/06 - Denver, CO
6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)

I'd like to say give up smoking, but I've got to be realistic so that one may get put on hold.
1. Stop spending all the money I get paid just because it's sitting there
2. Stop using my overdraft facility
3. Save a little so christmas isn't such a shock (again)
4. Loose a little weight (ok maybe more than a little)
5. Learn to say no with confidence, still a bit rubbish at that one
6. Go to bed earlier so I'm not knackered all the time
I think they are all attainable so fingers crossed.
No caffeinated drinks except hot chocolate (I started the stoping about 2 weeks ago)
2010 is my running year - focus on a running lifestyle. It means I have something to look foward to at the end of the year; do I eat healthier, do I consider running as necessary as reading; do I fit into the shirts from years ago

So I started dreaming about New Year resolutions last night.
I think I have a few good ones in mind.
Has anyone else started to make plans? :geek:
I've already jumped right in and have been riding the bus to and from work everyday, in spite of the cold ass weather.

1. Never ever ever drink pure red Bols
2. Only dance while drunk
3. Smile at least three times a day
Simple but do-able, had the same three for sixteen years now, and never broken them once.

I'm never as good as when you're there.........
2. Find time to play the guitar more than one hour a week (which is all I seem to be managing at the
moment).
3. Eat healthier and try to excercise where possible.
I considered going tee-total (I drink very little as it is), but you need a drink or two to wind down at the end of the week so that's not happening!
