I make some really good soups:

    White Bean Chili
    Lentil Soup
Won Ton Soup--I make my own won tons and it's very spicy, with lots of won tons per serving! My prince LOVES it. :D

Yeah, I love me some soup.

My favorite place for soup is this little bakery in Iowa City (yep, you heard me right).

The Bread Garden's soup is out of this world!!!

    Yum-o!

I love soup and all, but I need more recipes. I've grown tired of the same old soups.

I need a good cream of potato soup. Every one I've tried lacks in flavor or thickness. Anybody out there have a good one? Preferably one with ham or bacon? :D

mmmmm french onion is sinfully good- lots of stretchy cheese on top- crusted over the side of the bowl
really funny to watch others eat it too- not a graceful soup
takes a daring soul to order it out

do you make it homemade or out of a can? any special seasonings added? the only cream of celery i've ever had was from a can and very bland. i think it would be good though homemade, or with a few fresh ingredients added. any suggestions?

butternut squash soup makes me think of that episode from Top Chef where the dude obsessed about his perfect butternut squash soup. it looked so good. I tried the v-8 kind--egh, pretty good. probably should have added some spices. how do you make yours?

first time i've made it, was pretty simple! cooked some onion in butter and then added the cubed squash (love trader joe's, they have a 2lb bag of it ready to go!). cooked that for a few minutes then added chicken broth, let it simmer for 15 minutes till the squash was tender and then blended it up. put it back in the pot and added salt/pepper and nutmeg, and a dash of cream. it came out good but i think it needs something extra. i just found a recipe that has apples in it too, i think i wanna try that next!

I loves me some tortilla soup.
But I have mixed results making it myself.
Prefer to have it for lunch at a restaurant. With some fresh lime juice squeezed in it. :D
