the second one ...
yeah the second one is hilarious. the first one wasn't bad either. I knew though when I saw what they both were that 2nd one was going to be hilarious.
Here's a pretty funny Rage video. It's Bulls on Parade from SNL but sped-up. Zack is like the angriest chipmunk you'll ever see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6aqoYF9y5I2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. I think you would need to use some sort of proxy or something.0 -

No I haven't missed the point at all. I know they're donating to charity, I know that it's about how the X-Factor song always goes to #1 and that that's lame. I'm just saying that Zack swearing is just a little low brow. The fans put on a nice campaign that got so much attention and sticking it to the X-Factor is fun cause. And it's awesome that Rage played live on the bbc like that. But the swearing (after not swearing just moments before in the song) shows that they just wanted MORE attention.
Yeah you have missed it, by not swearing to start off with the producers were lulled into a false sense of security, then bam!!! The idea was to generate even more attention for the cause. Why should they censor the song for the BBC anyway? The BBC could have just put it on a time delay and beeped out the swearing.0 -

Yeah I got it, dude. I totally understand. I'm just saying that it's sort of cheesy to see Rage out there lulling BBC producers in and then BAM...saying "fuck". I mean, maybe 10 years ago I would have come into school the next day and say "Yo did you hear how Rage said "fuck" on the radio last night?" But now it just seems kinda lame.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Well I think that has more to do with you than the band, I suspect their main motivation is the charity aspect. So in terms of drawing the most attention to their performance and thus the cause, it made perfect sense. Censorship is something they have never stood for, I don't see why this is any different. These aren't 'naughty' words for the sake of it, Killing In The Name is a song with a meaning behind it, and they absolutely shouldn't censor it, despite how 'past it' you are. The song is what it is, it's still a shouty, in your face call to arms no matter how you choose to see it.0 -

I agree that censorship sucks. And I agree that Killing in the Name is a song with meaning behind it and like you, I also see it as a "shouty, in your face call to arms." But it's not really censorship if you agree not to say something, and then say it anyway and get cut off. They were warned. Censorship is like what happened to Pearl Jam getting their anti-Bush lyrics edited out of the AT&T webcast. They had no restrictions to what they can say put on by the event organizers, and yet their lyrics were cut. Rage on the other hand were given a restriction, didn't follow it, and rightly were cut off. Again, it goes back to my claim that Rage fights pointless causes. Yes....censorship sucks. But "fuck" has never been allowed to be said on terrestrial radio and never will....so it was another pointless point made by RATM.
Either way, I like the whole campaign and hope the song goes to #1.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. I think non-UK people can do this and have their choice included in the UK charts. Definitely works for UK people though.http://www.wishlistfoundation.org
