    More than anything, for me, is I cannot think of a better return for Ben. Maybe in the offseason? But you just let up from wasting a prime year of Embiid's. So good.

    Totally. They really had to take a shot this year. How can you sit there and tell your fans "wait 'til next year" after all this.

    so after 9 years we don't have to wait anymore :)

    had to make the trade.  hopefully can mesh quickly and make a title run.   could use another shooter but maybe that comes in the next 20 minutes.

    Saw that live, unfortunately. Sucks to give up picks but he's really off base there. I think Morey's position all along was to find a way to do this with keeping the two young guys who everyone has wanted to include in a deal all along. Mission fucking accomplished as far as I am concerned. 

    You know, it wouldn't shock me if we find out Jo had something to do with them staying too. Dude's been such a great leader this year and it seems like he values the chemistry they've developed together...

    It's sad when guys like him and Angelo Cataldi, who were guys that were respected as writers, go to tv and just turn it into an act.  Their opinions are made for ratings and dollars and have nothing to do with reality.

    I think Stephen A. may not be totally off. BUT, it's not even him who's the issue. All of a sudden it seems like the media en masse that spoke to all of Ben's faults apparently, miraculously, all of sudden did a 180 and now he's the missing link to a Nets championship. T what?

    And of course the only tickets that sold way ahead of time were Saturday against the Cavs for less than face value in what is likely to be his debut 😭.

    He’s not the ball handler while on the Nets. That should make a huge difference. If Simmons can’t figure it out on that team then he has proven he does not belong in the NBA.
