    I don't get the reasoning. Of course Simmons' FT (any kind of) shooting sucks, but pissing away a 26 point lead (and 18 point leads in back to back games) is primarily on the coach.

    Not daily, but frequently. It was a bad contract, and nobody in this thread was upset when Morey unloaded it as I recall. But the first 2 years are over, and 4th is not fully guaranteed.
    Bad contract has just been traded for a worse contract (when health is factored in).
    Horford's deal now is in essence a 1 year deal and then he'll be cut with a dead cap hit of 14.5 Mil for 22-23, giving the Celtics enough for a max player when the free agent class may be the greatest in league history, featuring the likes of Curry (Steph, not Seth), Durant, Harden, Irving, Leonard (assuming he doesn't opt out this off season which now seems unlikely given his ACL injury), Beal, Paul, Butler, Westbrook and Randle.

    Kemba's knee is shot, he's owed 73 Mil over the next 2 years, Horford has 41 Mil guaranteed over that time, so he plays next season, gets released and the salary slot opens up for a 3rd superstar to join Tatum and Brown.
    Basically Stevens is pushing his chips in for the 22-23 season.

    I watched the game through the 3 quarter and a few minutes into the 4th. I said this one is over then this morning on the radio they seem to be talking as if the Sixers lost, I paid it no mind. Then I decided later to look up the score and saw that they lost I couldn't believe it.....how was it possible?
