Toronto lost last night! But every time I glance at the standings, it seems like every team in the East is on a winning streak or has won 7 or 8 out of their last 10. Pretty frustrating.
Still see Philly being second in the division at the end of the season. (i might be biased as a Raptors fan)
Who cares about the division? You're not wrong though.
you want the 1st or 2nd in the division cause you want to have home court when you play in the 2nd round esp since if everything remains the way it is now Philly plays Boston and you really want home court against them.

Of course I would love philly to lose cause for me, they are the team I can see beating toronto in the playoffs

Home court is determined by your seeding in the conference now. They changed the rule that gave division winners home court advantage a few years back.

Yeah definitely seems that way. one of those teams needs to go on a losing streak and i'm guessing it would be Indiana

Damn, Jojo and Chandler out tomorrow night. Butler seeing a wrist specialist and is doubtful.

yeah knew they weren't gonna win that one w/out Embiid in Denver. Lakers on Tuesday should be a win. Glden State after that should be fun if everyone's playing.

1-1 Surprised they almost came back and won this, butler didn't play too well and where was Chandler?
    2-1. Corey Brewer.
3-1. Loved how they closed it out scoring the last 10 points. Jojo didn't look like himself in the 1st half but I think he scored 16 straight in the 2nd half at one point. He may get a rest day soon.
3-2, boo hoo. Hopefully we have everyone back for the rest of this run.

Welp, that's not the best news this morning for the sixers...

so what do you people think about this Simmons for Anthony Davis talk?  i doubt it's going to happen but I don't think I'd make that trade if I'm the Sixers.  I get that Davis is a stud but you really want TJ McConnell being your starter point guard?   Simmons is only in his 2nd season and is already damn good and getting even better. I don't make a move with him.

    Simmons for Davis is ludicrous.

Anything written and endorsed by Marcus Hayes should be dismissed immediately. He's going to the Lakers anyway.

ok follow up.  If you are the Lakers do you trade for him or hope to wait for free agency?  they aren't beating the Warriors this year anyway. Do you risk someone else trading for him and keeping him to not give up assets?  It will be interesting to see how much NO can get for him.

NOLA can virtually get anyone who’s not a superstar plus picks

He’s not hitting free agency until 2020.  He might want the Lakers but they dont have the assets that NOLA wants.

except the Celtics can't get involved due to trade rules due to the Kyrie trade.  he won't be going to Boston this year for sure.

You get Davis this year and it does change the conversation.  Lakers would have to clean house though, which is what Lebron wants to do.

AD needs to have his agent check around where it is a good fit and then be traded and sign an extension.

What assets do the Lakers have to make a deal for Davis?
They'd need to get a 3rd team involved.
Obviously the agent is trying to steer him to LA as he has been instructed by his boss LeBron, but I don't see any way the Pelicans take any package the Lakers put together.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Mirotic is who we should be interested in poaching off that roster. Perfect late season addition to this team...

The lakers would trade their remaining starting 5 beside Lebron plus atleast 1 draft pick.  the problem would be that they would still not have a good enough team to win the west and have no space to get the 3rd piece that they would need to beat say Warriors or Clippers if both KD and Leonard goes there next year
