Absolutely - I'd much rather play Milwaukee or Boston when you have to. Let that whole side of the bracket beat itself up.

I think I'm pumping myself up for no reason....but is Embiid actually learning to play at a higher level with this injury? He actually looked like he could dunk with power.

Yep. As much as I wanted the extra few days of rest, demolishing them in front of their super annoying fans was quite satisfying last night.

We're underdogs, but I am happy to be playing Miami as opposed to the Bucks or C's this round. I think we can win.

Yeah definitely would rather play Miami.

All I know is if the team from the games 1, 2 and 6 show up from here on out....I like our odds moving forward.

    Embiid was great.
Harden was the version of Harden we need.
    New Tobias was great.
    Maxey was a budding superstar.
Toss in a night when Danny's 3's go in, and Reed handles himself well during his minutes....giddy the fuck up.

Yeah mans. I just mainly need Tyrese to be an absolute superstar the rest of the way.

Yeah cool. Instead of having Paul Reed/Charles Bassey and Isaiah Joe in we're playing the superstars up by 30. Welp, it was fun, now onto baseball. God damnit.

he's been hurt in 4 of the last 5 playoff years (and the one he wasn't simmons was).   And in six games in this series he was sick twice (by his own admission) and hurt in 2 other games.  can you say fragile?    and to think people in Philly used to say Carson Wentz was injury prone because he got hurt for 2 playoff runs.

is the process now entering decade number 2?

Hope he isn't out for too long (maybe a game or two) and hoping we at least split the first two games

Gotta question why he was in the game up 29 with 4 minutes left.
The injury is on Doc's shoulders. The guy was already playing with an injured thumb. Toronto isn't mounting a 30 point comeback in 4 minutes, all the starters should have been on the bench by that point,
    This weekend we rock Portland

Correct. As much as I don't want to nitpick it, it's absolutely on Doc for running the risk.

The only thing I can think of is Glen had the same Same Game Parlay as I did and needed one more rebound each from Jo and James. No reason starters should've been in at that time.

Jo is a warrior but I am hearing ECF at earliest for his return.

I mean in times like these I would love to see Old Harden. Would feel a lot better about this team. At the very least need Maxey to be Superstar Maxey ASAP. This team just doesn't win without Jo, would love to see some others pick up the slack.

With Lowry out we can win tonight, one less talent on the floor for them.

I'll gladly take 25 with 15 assists and 8 or 9 boards......if Maxey goes off for 30. Lots of points need to be accounted for.

I am really curious how Harden looks in this role. We need the version of him from a few years ago or something close. I am not confident if that gear is still there though....

I don't see them beating the Heat.  They'll go deep again in the playoffs.  I hope they get to the finals again.

Gonna be really fucking funny if Simmons plays literally one game this year

ruled out for game 4 because of "back soreness". Sucks about Embiid but hopefully it won't effect his game too much.
Wow! What a piece of shit. I was looking forward to watching that debacle too.

Seems odd to have it now. He basically sat out an entire season because his feelings were hurt....now his offseason is going to be delayed over something he could've handled months ago?

And it's a herniated disc. He could've gotten a steroid injection to manage the pain, for the time being, if he really wanted to help his team in the playoffs. Fuck Ben Simmons.
