    I had not seen this thread previously and didn't read through all of it.

    I love #2, very striking, intense. It would be a calendar that I would not write on.
    But I do agree that people like to write on them so I think offering both backgrounds would be a good accommodation. :D
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    Well, I can't speak for the masses, but I'm certain I'd order one. Once I get it, I'll even set the world on fire and then send you an advertising pic of me modeling in front of the inferno.
