After the success of their Australia/New Zealand tour I am wondering if the stadium shows were an experiment by the band, to see if they might start doing this more regualrly.
They are always awesome so this would be quite a change.

I don't think it's new to the band. In 2006 I was at the Arnhem soccer stadium and I think it was a 25,000 crowd. Much will depend on the interest and places available.
remember their demand in australia is huge.....
In the Uk im not sure they would fill wembley for example....
20,000 arenas are about right over here......and they sell out because most of us go to them all. We cant ll go to wembley twice at the same time though!!!!
or they could play some clubs.....

I would like to see if they could sell out wembley stadium though!
too true, try a U2 show....or even Bruce....the sounds always compromises the evening
what would that be, 100,000? its 90,000 seated right so lose an end for the stage and add the floor standing??
75,000 to 90,000 seated and 15,000 standing (concerts).
well said, multiple PJ shows are the best ones on Earth, fuck stadium shows like the one in Katowice...Gelredome in Arnhem (30-40.000) was kinda OK, but not a bigger one, please!
Eddie: Dublin & London
hard to resist..
In just about every Boston/ Mansfield show since 2003 Ed mentions it from the stage...
Best friends with Theo Epstein...
You do the math..!
