    ive been legally separated for 10+ years. i could be divorced(not sure) and i dont really care either way cause i ain't going down that path again

    my godfather is my hero. same hen for 20+years. separate houses, 3 streets away from each other. never married her, never moved in, yet still together. go figure!

    Probably, but it is still 'officially' viewing what one should be looking at a lifetime commitment as something temporary. Even a messy divorce after a few years is not planned. Just seems another way not to have to work at the relationship (after all, it's only committed for 10 years). Call me old fashion but going into a marriage thinking 'we'll give it a go for 10 years and we'll see after that' is just not the same as 'we commit to a lasting relationship where we can have kids and raise/nuture them until adulthood and we will endeavour to make it work'.

    i bet old grandma or grandpa who have been married 50 years probably played around a little back in the day, but they just dealt with it and moved on. they didnt have cameras and answering machines and cellphones everywhere to catch them. seems the only real way to have a healthy long term marriage :lol:

    We don't cheat cause we don't want to hurt each other. Also our lovemaking is very very good so why ruin a working partnership of life.
