I would like to help out a beginner Bootleg Collector...

So i have the entire 2000, 2003 and 2006 tours saved to my external HD, and also burned to DVD, all in FLAC, all official releases, and all with artwork if it came with any. I also have the 2008 and 2009 tours saved and burned.

What i'd like to offer to (1) one person is this:

For a new bootleg collector, someone starting out, but looking to build up their collection easily, send me a spindle of 50 blank DVD's, and i'll burn all 3 tours for you, complete with a tracking sheet so you know what shows are on what disc. I'm only offering those 3 years due to the last 2 still being available for sale.

The 3 tours take up a total of 47 DVD's. 2000 = 14, 2003 = 16 and 2006 = 17.

So, in 50 words or less, tell me why you need to have all of these shows ASAP, and which ever situation appeals to me the most, i'll hook you up.

  • Best and kindest offer ever!

My name is Ryan. I own and run my own music school - "evolution music studios, llc" in PA. I am a new pj fan but have quickly become a diehard, practically live on these boards, have started building my boots and poster collection, joined 10 club, saw my first shows, and now spread the jam religiously. I give all my students copies of pj stuff and my 2 year old daughter sings fixer, lowlight, wishlist, and just breathe. This massive library would be a cornerstone of history for my school and myself. This gift would not only make a huge impact on my life but many next generation artists as well. I am already planning a pj themed concert and history class.

Thank you for this tremendous offer!

  • Hello, some of you may know me, I'm 21 years old, My first show was Bonnaroo, I decided to go for the first time to bonnaroo because my friends talked me into and I was just starting to get into it. I sat through B.B. King and Jack Johnson to get to the rail outside of the pit. I was gonna wait in line for the pit, but after seeing the line 4 hours before the show I thought jesus, what a bunch of nerds. They hit the stage and why I didn't know all the songs at the time I knew Corduroy, Why Go, and basically all the bigger songs. I even got my grandmother who I live with into them a little. She loves Who You Are, and I even recorded a video on them just so her to watch and as she calls it Old Woman In A Town doing something. I met my girlfriend also last year about the same time, and I told her about a band I was really gettin into and she saw Storytellers, and said that singer is a sexy man. She listens to them religiously and knows all the songs by heart just like me. This year we got to see Ed in our hometown of Nashville for the first night, and got front row and during Hard Sun, Ed pointed to my girlfriend and smiled. Me and her have had argument as to who exactly he was pointing to. I talked to her parents into letting me take her for the first time out of town with just me and her to Chicago to see Pearl Jam. We got to go up there and at the preparty I entered the raffle and won her a tote that has the lyrics to Release on it (Btw whoever made this if you are on the board, thank you for just a great donation and purse) which is her favorite song, but during the first night I received a call from home that my dad was having test done on his heart, and they rushed him into surgery because his aorta split right when we walked in the United Center the second night, so we drove 8 hours in the middle night and I never got to talk to my dad in person before he passed later that night, but I even had him liking him a couple of songs. I just started collecting bootlegs, but my crappy computer doesn't have the space on it to download all the shows. All I have is Bonnaroo and the Chicago show I went to. I just want to be able to listen to purity and insanity that is a Pearl Jam show.
    Shows Attended

    Nice offer man! 8-)

I'm workin' on that thing for ya... will ship after the holiday.

Thank you sir! Did you get my message about 1994 shows too?

Yep... Sorry I thought I had replied. They'll be included.
  • After I read your post, I was amazed. The fact that you would put the amount of work into burning these shows for a fan is awesome. So let me just say thank you for whom ever is the lucky recipiant of such an amazing gift.

Now, without sounding desperate....Could you please consider me? I would be forever grateful. Pearl Jam is my absolute favorite band. I have been to eight shows. Six of them being before the 2003 tour even started. Due to the cost of being a single parent I have not been able to come up with the resources to start my own collection. I have two shows on cd that a friend gave me and I have listened to them a million times each. The thought of being able to hear three years worth of shows...I just dont have words to describe it.

Thanks for your consideration. And have a great holiday...
