Do the merchandise stands take credit card

Or do I need to go prepared with the cash for Sydney & Brisbane?

i never knew that....I only asked at Shep Bush and Berlin - more out of interest than wanting to use it because if they took it i had a list of people message me to grab them stuff for them at the shows

this. people who use credit cards at the merch stand should be beaten. also, people that ask to see and feel everything and compare sizes should also be beaten. its not barney's its a fucking merch stand and people are waiting.
people should note here too that the merch stands at the 02 were not at all busy, in fact i wandered up to a few when there was no one else there so paying via card would have caused nobody any delays...a far cry from the berlin stand that was rammed 15 deep
If I get to the front of a queue and decide that I want to buy more merch than my cash allows (eg maybe a shirt looks better up close and I decide to go for it) then I will use a card. I'm not doing it to piss anybody off and I'm not being selfish, I just don't see why people should miss out. It doesn't take long to type in 4 numbers anyway, certainly not as long as the MSG staff last year took to rummage around for the right change
As pdalowsky said, the merch stands at O2 were really quiet and there were more in 4 or 5 different places onsite so there was no problem there anyway

and those who dont have the cash available until next months pay cheque neednt apply?
In this day and age like said above credit card transactions should be extremely quick, I see no harm in handing over a card, its safer to have a card on you rather than a bucket load of cash also for obvious reasons and you never know if you will like the merch before you get to the venue so do you risk taking a load of cash that you might not need and lose or take your card if you know its accepted?
You're right... they should be extremely quick; however, every time I see a credit card machine at a merch booth it's a piece of equipment from 1984 that has a hobbled together phone line with a broken connector and piece of tape holding it into the machine. This results in a dropped call if the breeze changes directions.
If the venues started accommodating newer technology, I wouldn't have a problem with credit card charges and would even welcome them as I almost always never have cash on my person.
Please find me and toss me a beating if this is unacceptable, but pack a lunch, I'm a big 'ol boy with several years of "Bouncing Experience" whilst in college.
