I feel this list is a joke anyway. The Strokes are good but hell KOL is better than most of the bands on this list. Both of KOL's first two albums are worthy enough to be on this list.

Backspacer certainly isn't the best of the decade on any list.

PJ has released 3 other albums since 2000 that in my opinion are better than Backspacer. Just my humble opinion. Backspacer has it's moments but some songs just fizzle out after awhile.

When I made my own ten-best list for 2001, "Is This It" was my #1. I haven't really thought about albums of the decade yet. Off the top of my head, the two that leap out are "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" by Wilco and "Hail To The Thief" by Radiohead, but I may be forgetting something obvious. "Riot Act" and "Pearl Jam" are in the top 10. Too soon to tell on "Backspacer," although the early returns are strong.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Backspacer is nothing more than a solid album. I don't know that it is the album I would use to try to convince Springsteen fans to like Pearl Jam. It would be the album I'd use to convince Nickleback fans to like Pearl Jam.
  • Backspacer is Binaurals bitch....and that goes double for every album on that list!!!!

Vitalogy would have it's way with Binarual while Backspacer sat on the bed crying.
