bucket list band. but they'll never come anywhere near me.
I saw them in Calgary when they played in '96 or '97 at the Max Bell. I would LOVE to see them again someday but that was the last time they visited the prairies :(
they went to calgary? wow. I would have easily gone to that had I known. but that was pre-internet. lol
They played the year before at Mac Hall @ U of C, I missed that one but we caught the OK Computer tour. I remember it being great and Thom yelling at everyone for moshing, being blown away by Street Spirit and them closing with my fave song (Lucky), all in all very memorable. And I think it was shortly after that Max Bell stopped having concerts cause Marilyn Manson was booked and you know, satanism and stuff :)

I saw them a couple times during In Rainbows tour and KOL, but I really thought Boston in 2018 was the best I've ever heard them sound.

I was on the floor for both of those Boston shows... that two night stand was indescribable... 45 different songs between the 2 nights... It was borderline religious.
That's dope! I wish i had ended up going both nights- was on floor for the second. The setlists were insane for both. Was glad I got to hear Talk Show Host and my favorite two tracks from OK - Tourist & Let Down.

Yes that's how the two Phila nights felt. Basically they played everything that I love.

I immediately sent the link to my wife as a potential Christmas gift. She gets annoyed that I preorder everything & don't give her the chance to buy them as gifts. Hope she grabs this! Ha!

This is 100% what I meant. The link has already been sent to my Mrs.  :D

Likewise, I'm a pain in the ass to shop for, and I usually preorder stuff myself... gotta make sure she orders before they sell out though!

On second thought I will wait and see on this. I already have the two albums on CD and 10" vinyl and don't have any idea if the bonus disc will be worth having.

I ordered the cream color vinyl which includes a nice booklet and the digital albums as well. Wish I could spring for the cassettes and bigger booklet too but can't afford it atm.

I think I’m sticking with the standard black vinyl. I always browse a book once very quickly and never look at it again lol.

Damn now I’m seeing there’s a red version but it’s sold out everywhere.

Would have gone great with my blue OK computer
