strangest shit. 2nd time its happened. not 2 days I am searching discogs for several Cult records. THIS title doesnt have a reissue at all. 87 pressings thats it.  Grabbed my rsd stuff and hit the used bins. BOOM. Then under the card section I find the 12 inch promo single.

Last time it was let there be rock....

"Goin' down to the Medicine Show,"  oh yeah!  There's are excellent live versions of the songs "Medicine Show" and "John Coltrane Stereo Blues" on this cool album:

K man! I liked the first album for years but never went deeper in the catalogue. Enjoying it so far 👍

Very cool!  This is the one remaining band I would consider sacrificing a little of what's left of my hearing to go and see.  (Dinosaur Jr would be the other one, but they would destroy any remaining hearing I have, so I've had to pass on a couple of opportunities to catch them).

Another Dream Syndicate score shows up here- very cool!  Other than Dio, I don't know the others you got there (nor the film, "Flag Day" but I just looked up the song list so I probably should, huh?  LOL).  All look interesting.

Crass were anarcho-punk from the late 70’s and early ‘80. Scream was a DC based/Dischord hardcore band that Dave Grohl played drums for in the 80’s.

I saw Scream in DC in the 80s in a church basement as part of an Amnesty International benefit. Years later I wondered if Dave Grohl was playing with them at the time. Then I saw he mentioned in his book about playing an Amnesty International benefit with them. So, I would like to think that was the one I was at.

Flag Day soundtrack is very tastefully done.  Have enjoyed it thoroughly outside of the context of the film which I have not seen as yet. Ed's daughter does a fine job on a couple tunes as well. Props to her and to Ed for a job well done overall.

Sounds excellent!  I didn't know Ed's daughter was making music.  I need to keep up here better!

I think he joined Scream in ‘86 so if was after that it was him. That’s cool!

Today’s gems. Some super clean original UK Dead Kennedys including an original Belgium press Fresh Fruit. Original German press Black
Flag, Iggy Pop original UK press, and a super  clean The Stooges 1972 French reissue. And with that, I’m done for awhile.
