Doves - Kingdom of Rust.
Second hand, and something of a Holy Grail for me. Have had this on CD since it's release but it was time to get it on vinyl so ordered it via ebay, as I've never seen it at the record stores I go to. If you haven't heard this album, do yourself a favour, it's a gem. :-P

all of these LP's were $0.50!
Robert Johnson--King of the Delta Blues Singers
Minutemen--Project Mersh
Eric Clapton--Slowhand
The Allman Brothers Band--Brothers & Sisters
Beach Boys--Surfer Girl
Bonnie Raitt--Sweet Forgiveness
Duke Ellington & Count Basie--The Count Meets The Duke
Split Enz--Time And Tide
and all of these were only $0.10!!!
Billy Joel--The Stranger
Simon & Garfunkel--The Graduate Soundtrack
Beatles--Rubber Soul (it's really beat up...hope it plays!)
the bad thing is that my record player is on the moving truck...in Texas. i'll have to wait 2-3 weeks to spin these records.
the notorious b.i.g "life after death" with a parental advisory sticker on it.
all of these i found at the record store with a few added bonuses. i got a 10 of clubs hat, PEARL JAM DR. street sign, and a 33" x 33" framed poster of the "live on two legs" album inside cover with all the '98 tour posters. i could not get to the record store quick enough when i heard that there was a toothpaste vinyl of soldier field. i did however miss seeing the wine colored benny that was in the store last friday. i told him i probably would have paid twenty bucks to look at it while it was there. i didnt think i would ever see these anywhere besides internet sales.
Just letting all you vinyl junkies know that they're putting out a real deal version of Counting Crows-August and Everything After. I know there's quite a few waiting for this, especially after the recent live album release.
