    I watched the first few innings of this then switched over to the US soccer game then fell asleep before this ended...dammit. Can't say this team is boring anymore.

    they have good players. They just needed to play better. While agree with the trades. But if those guys plus A-Rod were still here. I believe the same thing would be happening.

    Did anyone see the Balk that was called, and a run scored, but the umps changed ther minds? (and Tampa ended up not scoring) Yanks caught a break.

    It was a obvious balk. Pitcher was on the rubber and started, though very slightly, his delivery then stopped. It was so obvious the hitter stepped out of the box and pointed at the pitcher. Home plate Ump called it right away too. But Giraldi came out and said whatever he said to the ump, and then the umps huddled up and changed the call. I never heard or read a explanation why.
