  • Just posted in the MLB thread. He's the worst. Every couple years he thinks its necessary to tell everyone to get off his lawn.
Yeah, though I do agree that Bautista is a world class asshole. I liked some of the comments. "Grey Goose Gossage", hahaha. Sounds like a drunk rant.
haha, having this argument in the MLB thread. I can't stand Bautista but I didn't have a problem with that specific situation.

I also think he's a world class asshole for telling an entire race how they should act.

And just to add, Bautista had an incredibly classy response.
I know, it takes a special kind of asshole to make Bautista look good. I guess I should have looked there before posting it here. My bad.

If he retires after 2 years for sure. What if he hits like 30 this year and 25 next year? I mean that is highlight doubtful but if so, I bet he'd give it one more year. Imagine him on the Marlins with Bonds as the hitting coach? Though I doubt Bonds will still be the hitting coach there in a couple years.

yeah, but I don't see 30 and 25. Then again, I sure didn't see 33. I'm sure you remember the talk LAST spring.

Jesus Montero put on waivers. Wild. Edit: Ugh, claimed by Toronto.

Cannot wait for this season. Very excited about this team.

Yeah, I was going to say I would have liked for the Yankees to give him a shot, but not sure where they would put him. No space for catchers in the system. Not sure who is playing 1st in Scranton with Bird out, so maybe there, but alas..

I'm not saying they are going to be good, though I think the division is wide open,

I am just excited for the mix of players on this team. Everyone seems healthy. The bullpen is can't miss TV, the middle of the infield is under 26 years old. Arod! I like hicks. Just seems like a more fun team to watch than we have had in a while. Hopefully a healthy season for big mike. Looking forward to seeing what severino can do for a fell season. I feel like there are so many interesting players on the team.

I enjoyed last years team a lot but they have been pretty boring. The mo and jeter retirement tours added some intrigue to pretty brutal teams. And hey, no more Stephen Drew

CC is shot. Would love to see him resemble a 4th starter, but not sure what they can do with him...

Hoping for a big year from Tanaka. Rough spring, but it's only spring.

I do miss Jeter, obviously, but I like Didi a lot.

Yankees reliever Andrew Miller suffers chip fracture in right wrist

New York Yankees left-hander Andrew Miller has a chip fracture in his right wrist, and will visit a hand specialist to determine the next course of action.
Miller was injured during the seventh inning of Wednesday's game with the Braves in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., when he was struck on the right arm by a line drive off the bat of Willians Astudillo. The lefty immediately walked off the mound grabbing his right arm, and threw his hat into the dugout upon exiting the game.

Following the game, Yankees manager Joe Girardi said that Miller had a "substantial bruise," and general manager Brian Cashman said that Miller was immediately headed back to Tampa for X-rays and a CT scan. The X-rays were negative, but a team release sent just after 8 p.m. revealed that the CT scan found the chip fracture.

There was no further word as of Wednesday night on any timetables for Miller.

At least it is his right arm. Wrap it up and pitch.
