    Even though he won a World Series with Washington albeit having a bad playoffs. Imagine if we had signed Patrick Corbin like most people wanted.

    yep, five hours, 45 minutes for that one, Bernie hit a tying homer off Eddie Guardado and Giambi got thrown out trying to score earlier in extra innings.

    Benentendi is perfect for the Yankees, I mentioned he was a good fit before.  GG in left and gets on base.  Doesn't have to drive in runs, let the other players do that and he scores.

    I was shocked when the Sox traded him actually.

    that is a dumb injury, though I'd be there are segments of the Yankees who are hoping it's a lengthy enough injury that it doesn't force them into deciding about his postseason roster status.
