    Rob Thomson has been with the Yanks for over 20 years and supposedly has a great relationship with the players, which it seems is the main factor in why Girardi was let go.

    I'm never sold on the hype surrounding the Japanese and Korean players coming to MLB.  Only Nomo, Ichiro, Matsui, Darvish, & Tanaka have really ever lived up to it.
    I recall when Kosuke Fukudome was the second coming of Mickey Mantle.
