Looks like the Yanks are moving towards a deal for Kimbrel. Soooo, they have no starting pitching but 7, 8 and 9 are goign to be lights out. What is it going to take to get him? Sanchez has to be the center piece, no?

I was just reading the Astros are trying for him as well. They might be willing to give more.

White Sox-Yankees should be a good series this weekend...both teams are playing really well right now. I'll be there on Saturday.

Nice. I know I shouldn't be, but I am kind of down on the Yanks right now. Pitching is a problem. Should be fun series though.

Could you imagine if they did get Kimbrel/Chapman if they had Wilson/Betances/Miller and one of those two coming out of the pen and all throwing 95+?

Yankees with their 14th game with 9+ runs this season which is the 2nd most in MLB. The Blue Jays lead with 17.

Still have a 6 game lead. This pitching scares me to death but it would take a serious collapse to lose this.

HA. Garrett Jones is back in the same role he was in a week ago. Hopefully he got a nice little vacation.
  • Severino looks pretty good so far.
  • I wish Ortiz would just retire already.

Damn. Tough one. Severino pitched well. Gotta cut down on how many pitches each batter sees but can't complain about that line

still, I see toronto as a team that could win it all.....and they def don't want to be the WC

He probably had another inning if not for the Headley error

Luis Severino is the first pitcher in AL history to allow 2 H or fewer, with no walks & 7+ Ks in his MLB debut

  • Why is that ump trying to bait CC? He's walking off the mound without saying shit. You could make out his words, if I'm not saying anything to you don't say shit to me. Exactly right.

A couple ground balls squeaking through extended that inning. He's throwing heat!
