Man, so much anger ... relax boys.

And Neily, before you get you're undies in a twist, I'd post this even if the Sox were down 1-0 ... or 7-0, which has been happening often this season.

a kid in the stands had a jacket..... "6 x world series champion":lol::lol:

    I think they won 7 - 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918, 2004, 2007. :? That definitely is an epic fail.

Of course, Red Sox still celebrating 1912 World Series Championships isn't much different than Yanks still celebrating 1923, right?

Funny little story - when the Yanks had their batboys wear #27 in the 2009 WS (maybe the whole season?), Phils prez said maybe we'll have our batboys wear #3.

hard watching a game where the announcers are rooting for one team when it's supposed to be neutral.

    Agreed ... and proof ...

GordonEdes - According to F/X pitch camera that MLB uses, last pitch to Teixeira was 14.7 inches off center of plate. Plate 17 -in diameter. 6" outside?

I've had nothing but respect for Youkilis and it's really hard to hate anyone in these rivalries considering the amount of fraternization that takes place these days.

Yeah, though having seen the fraternization, if I ever leave the media business (which always is possible), I'd feel the same. Though I was pissed when he got hurt last August, part of my epic 2007-Met like collapse in fantasy baseball.
