I hear you on the bunt, I just hate it with a hitter like granderson up. Oh well, turned out well, so I can't really complain.

Arods hit was funny. They showed him on the screen laughing about it when he was at 1st.

Good win and back tied for first

should be a homer fest w/ the bluejays in town ...its good not to have the deal with halliday every other week
It should be an easy series win for the yanks. Game one starter for the Blue Jays is coming out of the pen and game three is Jo-Jo hasn't won a game in 28 starts Reyes. Although Carlos Villanueva has been fantastic in long relief this year, I just don't think he can be stretched out to five plus innings.

You can also expect a lot of stolen bases. Rajai Davis ran all over the place and the Jays are third in the AL with 46 stolen bases and that includes Bautista who has swiped five out of six bases.

Do you guys think it would be a good strategy to intentionally walk Bautista? The guy is as dangerous at the plate as anyone I've seen in a while.

I don't see why more teams don't do this. With Lind on the DL there isn't anyone to offer him protection in the four hole.

maybe Cashman's first comments to the media when he addresses it will be "see I told you guys I didn't want to sign him"...

And the first thing he should say to Levine, is "you're an idiot, let me do my job"

Annnnnnnnd....Of course he's on his way to see James Andrews.

Carl Pavano 2.0. Shitty attitude and all.

    This should be fun.

i knew they jinxed it when they were trying to come up with a nickname for the 7,8 and 9th inning guys.

I don't think his attitude is as bad as Pavano's. The first time he didn't talk to the media, though his English is not the greatest, when he apologized he was very engaging. Of course he shouldn't have said anything about the offense last week, but that still does not make as much of a pariah as Pavano.

Good thing there's nobody from the New Yorker seeking a comment from ownership on the team for an 11,000 word article. It might be filled with talk about mediocrity.

The Jays have a lot going for them right now, it's just such a tough division. Proud of the Yanks tonight as always.

Ricky always pitches good in New York. I think he just steps his game up when his lady is at the game.
