i'm watching on YES. But I'm hearing that on ESPN they're getting too excited over the Boston's scoring. And they hardly mentioned the Yankees winning the World Series during the pregame and game.

as i've said, it's 1 of 162 ... this game means nothing. Yanks could easily come back and win it.

    Just love bustin' your nuggets.

Likewise, but according to many yankees fans, the sky is currently falling.

Soemthing Sox and Yanks fans can certianly agree on.

I'd rather be listening to Michael Kay than Joe Morgan.

We really should have won this game. I mean, I could be eating my words if the Yanks score in the top of the ninth, but this is a case of New York losing the game rather than Boston winning the game. First of all, I feel like they left CC in a bit too long. I know Girardi was looking for the strategic pitching scenario with Ortiz, but you could just tell that CC is going to give up that hit. Along with that, the bullpen looked rattled.

At any rate, this is only one game. But it seems like Boston, when they beat us, always beats us in this fashion, by attacking our bullpen and making clutch hits.

Agreed Yanks should have won but no biggie, Girardi was going to leave CC in to face a lefty no matter what, with Robertson up in the pen.

Both of these teams beat the other team in this fashion.

    I know, I know.

That two-run homer really ruined my night, though. :(

Yeah, I still remember that loss. People were already writing off CC.

At any rate the offense tonight looked rather impressive.

Offense defintely looked better than they did at this time last year. Arod makes all the difference. Granderson's K vs. schowensise was pretty weak but he worked a walk against a lefty later.

CC shouldn't have given Youk anything to hit.

This post should be included in the dictionary under contradiction.

With this boston lineup, be prepared to lose against them this way many games this year.

Really? Isn't the lineup the weakest aspect of team this year? Ortiz, Scutaro, Cameron?

After wayy too much Easter Dinner cosumption,
i went to bed real early at 5-1 Yankees thinking it was over.
I was even sicker when i woke to find out we lost 9-7 .

was this all attributed to Jorges missed pitch or were other intangibles involved here ?

    :?:
