    That's the problem with Rizzo. He wants the pitcher to cover first instead of taking it himself

    Definitely not Rizzos fault. No reason for Cole to not even attempt to cover the bag.

    Yes Cole should have. But Rizzo needs to let go of his thing of trying to get pitchers to cover first. Just take it yourself.  Cole probably thought he was going to charge the ball.

    So Cole couldn't go the 7th after throwing 88 pitches with 10 days off. But can go the 6th and throw 98 with 4 days?
