Yeah, I saw a Sox fan get taken out of the bleachers on a stretcher at the old stadium. That was tough to see.

I have had beer and open ketchup packets winged at me at the new stadium and nacho cheese slapped on my Rangers jersey at TD Garden. People just fucking suck everywhere.

I truly think that there crews of people that go to Yankee/Sox games at Yankee Stadium with the sole purpose of getting hotheaded Massholes thrown out. They're not even there to watch a game; they just go to harass other baseball fans. If I would've stood up and protested about the beer or ketchup packets, the fingers would've been pointed at me, the "asshole" chant would've gone up, and I would've been out waiting for the 4 train. I've seen it so many times.

I did consider beating the ever loving shit out of the Bruins fan. That was my Messier cup jersey. Fucking stain never came out. Dickhead! It's probably good that I kept my cool now that my daughter's youth hockey team does stuff with the piece-of-shit Bruins. My wife's a Bruins fan, and she's a fucking dickhead, too. When they lost game 7 to the Habs in 2004, she shoulder checked a Habs fan so hard that she knocked his beer out of his hand. Dickhead!
My cousin was an asshole Yankees fan.  He once told me he pissed in a cup and threw it at some Boston fans.  I said " why the hell did u do that"?

His response?  They are Redsox fans and they were in the Bronx.

Sorry Dan, I just thought you wanted some cheese for your pretzel and I slipped on the delivery.
And it wasn't nacho cheese, it was fromunda cheese.

Bad fans occur everywhere.  The fact everyone has a supercomputer HD camera in their pockets helps form any narrative.

Bad/violent fans are much worse in the northeast for the most part, but those are typically the most loyal/best fans too.... but something strange seems to happen to people in California and some people turn into werewolves and kill one another over sports.

not that anyone deserves that type of treatment but in today's world, especially in the Northeast, if you wear the other teams jersey to a road game you are a moron.  it's just dumb behavior (don't even get me started on wearing a jersey to begin with let alone at a road game). all you are doing is poking a bear. why would anyone think it's a good idea to do that when you are outnumbered 40,000 to maybe 500?  yea yea i know it shouldn't be that way but it is unfortunately.

Oh no, I read that.  I'm still voicing my opinion on the whole thing because the whole thing just chaps my ass.

Something that I do not like is seeing a grown person in a Yankees jersey with a name on the back, a person at a game wearing something  with neither of the two teams playing that day, or a person in a jersey/shirt/hat of a completely different sport at a game.

    But that is just me.

Report: Yankees expected to pursue Patrick Corbin in free agency
    3h ago
Denis Poroy / Getty Images Sport / Getty
SAN DIEGO CA - SEPTEMBER 28 Patrick Corbin 46 of the Arizona Diamondbacks pitches during the first inning of a baseball game against the San Diego Padres at PETCO Park on September 28 2018 in San Diego California

The New York Yankees are already planning for the offseason.

Their first order of business after being ousted from the postseason by the Boston Red Sox is to shore up the starting rotation, and the Yankees apparently have their eyes on a big-ticket lefty.

New York is expected to target starter Patrick Corbin this offseason, sources told Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports.

Corbin has spent his entire career with the Diamondbacks, pitching six seasons in Arizona.

It's not the first time Corbin and the Yankees have been connected. Last offseason, New York was reportedly scouting him and even had talks with the Diamondbacks about a potential trade alongside infielder Brandon Drury. A deal for Drury eventually materialized, but Corbin stayed in the desert.

It appears the lefty would welcome the opportunity to don pinstripes. A New York native, Corbin grew up a fan of the Yankees and said in April that 'it would definitely be great to play' for them.

The Yankees' rotation may be in flux, too, as both CC Sabathia and J.A. Happ are free agents and Sonny Gray is coming off a year in which he pitched to a 4.90 ERA in 130 1/3 innings. Luis Severino and Masahiro Tanaka appear to be the only sure things heading into next season.

The 29-year-old Corbin had a career-best campaign in 2018, going 11-7 with a 3.15 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 11.07 K/9. It also marked the first time since 2013 that the southpaw managed to throw 200 innings in a single season. Corbin then underwent Tommy John surgery, missed the entirety of 2014, and has been working his way back to top form since.

Corbin has been a foregone conclusion for a while.

Is he an ace? No. Is he the best free agent pitcher available by a mile? Yes, unless Kershaw opts out. I do not want a makeshift rotation next year.

I like Corbin. I don’t know of his ground ball rate this year is sustainable but it is a good trend. I am good with this.

Something I saw in writing for the first time today which I have been thinking about for a couple weeks. Trading andujar for pitching and signing manny. I think that is a legit possibility.

There was talk amongst people for DeGrom to be traded for Andujar and a few other prospects.

    The Yankees don't need Machado.

Also add a full run to his era for switching leagues.

If andujar can be the center piece of a degrom trade they need to do it and sign machado, I think. They need pitching bad and where else is it coming from?

i don’t think a full run is accurate these days but Yeah, it would obviously be higher
