Picks from the 2009 tour

I am curious to see what the picks looked like from this tour. I was lucky to grab one from Mike on 10/31 and i will be posting a picture soon. If you have some time please post yours so we can compare. Thanks.

    There are several on ebay (not mine...) that look like different panels from the album cover on one side and the "PJ" typewriter key on the other. Different panels for Mike and Stone. Jeff's looks clear, says "Live Fast" (I think) on one side and "JA" on the other. I haven't seen one linked to Eddie. I'm assuming the same ones he was using during his solo tour.

    I really enjoy guitar picks as collectibles. Still hoping to get a Mike pick at a show one day. One, he is an amazing guitarist, and two, he chucks fistfulls at a time so his are the best odds. I just need to get within throwing distance. Someday...

    I got the Mike Mermaid pick Wed night. Found an EV pick on the ground on my way out and traded it for the Mike pick. I already have the EV (from solo tour).
    On Fri I got hit with a Jeff pick but the guy in front of me found it first so he kept it. It was a clear yellowish color w/JA on the back.
    On Sat I got a green Bad Religion pick from CCM. It's green w/his name on one side and a black crufix w/a slashed circle on the back.

    Good gravy! You can probably line your whole tar paper shack with all those picks! ;) I am envious!

    It was slim pickins (no pun intended) on Stone's side. I think I had a better chance of catching one of Boom's B3 keys. I'm definitely not (seriously) complaining but I did feel a twinge of jealousy watching Mike shower his side with handfuls all night long...

    I got one from Mikes amp don't know if it was MIke. Its white with a train on fire on the front (from the album) and it has a big PJ on the back. A roadie gave it to me.....so I have no Idea
    anyone know?

    I was able to get 2 Mike Picks Friday night. I found a Jeff one on the floor after the show was over but a woman grabbed my arm and said it was her husbands so I asked her politely to remove her hand from my arm and gave her husband the pick.

    If anyone has a pick from anyone else, Jeff, Stone, or Eddie, or a different Mike pick, I got two of the mermaid ones, I'd offer up a trade. Thanks in advance.

    That's pretty lame... if there's a pick on the floor its no one's until its picked up and if you thought it was yours and left it on the floor that's your loss! Still cool you got two Mike picks though - I kept missing his multi-pick throws by about 5 feet! :)

    Haha dude, I was there it was her husbands... He was actually showing it to me while I was showing him my Stone one and someone hit his arm and it went flying back to where you had been standing. The guy infront of me at that same time bent over and snagged Eddies pick on the ground.

    I think these a bit different from the ones used in Europe, my friend got one in London and it was an orange pick with a baby on it, and on the other side - 'sold to Pearl Jam at birth'

    I got a REALLY nice pick from Ed at the Portland show. As I was watching Mike's picks zing overhead :roll: , I see another one hits the dudes arm next to me. Apparently nobody else saw it, so down I went , amongst the legs, and found the most amazing pick ever! ;)... :)... :D
    It has a killer whale totem on one side, and ED in a circle on the other. Im pretty sure this was right around the time he had to ask his guy to "Just gimme a fn pick!" Cool Memories!
    And sorry, its nfs or trade.

    Missed my chance for a pick on Philly Night 1 & 4 when I had 3rd Row 10C tix. Lottery winners cock blocked everyone on picks on Night 1, scoring multiple Mike picks. One guy was nice enough to hand his spare to the girl next to me. Luckily, Eddie saw my "50th Show" sign on Night 4 and flipped me his harmonica during Smile. Oh, well there's always next tour...

    Yeah, I got Mike's pick on Friday thanks to my friend who was standing on his side... it's the "lady in the water" one, but apparently he was throwing out other ones as well, I think some older ones, cause I know people that have different ones (although I didn't see them).
    Glaciers melting in the dead of night and the superstars sucked into the supermassive.

    Kay, maybe EVerybody's right. I can see where it could also be JA. I just know Ed was standing next to Mike tossing picks, and I didnt see Jeff. Either way, its a cool pick. :thumbup:
