This show was incredible! DEEP was awesome and light years and Jeremy w/strings and present tense and footsteps and RVM and off he goes. Absolutely loved the song selection! I had seats behind the stage which was not a bad place to sit at all, good view. 8-) I was bummed i wasn't able to go to the Halloween show heard that was unreal. I missed them playing whip it all dressed in Devo attire! :evil:Scott Davis0

randalls 2 96 is the best pj show ever
but this one is up there with the best PJ shows Ive ever seen0 -
How can Randalls be the best ever when songs like Smile, Crown of Thorns, Sonic Reducer, Hard to Imagine, Footsteps weren't played...I could go on and on...0
-
you had to be there man-incredible energy, first time present tense was played live I believe, and the most intense porch I have ever heard-what a showEarlPam wrote:How can Randalls be the best ever when songs like Smile, Crown of Thorns, Sonic Reducer, Hard to Imagine, Footsteps weren't played...I could go on and on...
09/29/96 – Downing Stadium (Randall’s Island): New York, NY [168m]
attendance: 30,000
support act: Ben Harper, The Fastbacks
set: Sometimes, Go, Spin the Black Circle, Hail Hail, Animal, Tremor Christ, Who You Are, Corduroy, Lukin, Better Man, Not for You, Jeremy (new), Once, Rats, Last Exit, Habit, Rearviewmirror, Immortality, Whipping, I Got Shit, Black, Alive, Porch
enc 1: In My Tree, Even Flow, Daughter/(The Real Me)/(ABitW)/(WMA), Mankind, Long Road, Leaving Here
enc 2: Off He Goes, Present Tense, Yellow Ledbetter
notes: A nearly three-hour show with a raging pit. The band stops playing several times in an effort to get the crowd to settle down. During ‘Porch,’ Ed duct-tapes his *entire* body and jumps into the pit. (Thought we’d never see that again!) Just before the first encore, someone throws an “Eddie Vedder for President” t-shirt up on stage. Ed looks at it and says, “Well I’ll tell you the truth … I smoke pot! I didn’t exhale though!” Stone asks for a chant of “Stone, Stone, Stone!” before singing ‘Mankind.’ During the encore, Mike starts playing ‘Yellow Ledbetter’ after ‘Leaving Here,’ Ed stops him and they go into ‘Off He Goes’ followed by ‘Present Tense!’ Incredible setlist.0 -

What an incredible show to be a part of. Thanks to the 10c for winning the seating lottery! Front row dead center!!!

It was great to hear my favorite song (Tremor Christ) again live for the first time in 11 years! And thanks to EV for flipping me his guitar pick after Unthought Known. As cool as night 4 was, this show had much better energy and flow...9/13/98, 10/4/00, 4/29/03, 6/29/03, 7/2/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 5/12/06, 5/13/06, 6/27/08, 6/28/08, 6/30/08, 10/30/09, 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 10/19/13, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/25/13, 10/27/13, 9/26/15, 4/28/16, 4/29/16, 8/5/16, 8/7/16, 8/13/18, 9/2/18, 9/4/18, 9/26/21, 9/1/22, 9/2/22, 9/14/22, 9/18/23, 9/19/23, 9/7/24, 9/9/24, 9/12/24, 9/15/24, 9/17/24, 5/16/25, 5/18/250 -
