  • Ive pretty much got the entire Biggie album Ready to Die in my noggin. Shits forever burned in my memory. I probably look pretty funny belting out the lyrics to Gimme the Loot, being a small white female and all

I'm slamming niggas like Shaquille, shit is real
When it's time to eat a meal I rob and steal
'cos Mom Duke ain't giving me shit
so for the bread and butter I leave niggas in the gutter
Huh, word to mother, I'm dangerous
Crazier than a bag of fucking Angel Dust
When I bust my gat motherfuckers take dirt naps
I'm all that and a dime sack, where the paper at?

when i was 11-13, i would write songs out. i would sit there with a pen and pad, and hit pause over and over until i had the whole song. this was before the internet obviously.
Imagine a 12 yr old kid that can rap this perfectly. my mom was proud  I was obsessed with the way these guys made the english language sound, and all their pop culture references kept me doing my homework to find out what the hell they were talking about.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmiiW936jqw

Keep in mind there are two guys doing that song. Having the breath control to do the whole thing by yourself is very hard, especially the third verse, starting with Yahoo hidy ho, yep im coming around the stretch....

I can honestly say I have probably 100 or so memorized. I make a cd compilation called "Rap Every Word" im up to about vol 5 on those, where every track is doable. and of course there are entire albums, like Ready to Die, Doggystyle, and All Eyez On Me, that were just so epic, that they are memorized.

Gimme the loot is one of the best. I like how Biggie duets with himself using two different voices. Also that track is censored in one spot:

    I wouldn't give fuck if you're PREGNANT
Give me the baby rings and a #1 MOM pendant

ive never found out why that word pregnant wasnt allowed on the album.

Probably for the same reason I didnt post that portion of the lyric here.
Some may find it offensive. But still...If I dont purchase my CD's at Walmart...I want the dirt!!!

im gonna chime in on the LL front.

Just watch this video and song. You've got to. The dancing, the body, the hard rhymes, the kangol bucket hat, the rope gold chains. This guy was dangerous and unstoppable. AND HE WAS 19 YRS OLD.
