just hear 'Just Breathe' on 105.3 san francisco/bay area station!!!

after the song the guy said that Pearl Jam is one of the few bands still together after a long time even that sometimes people thought they broke-up and he put a Mike's interview fragment talking about that... (mike said something about breaking up when they cancelled a concert in San Francisco, McCready said it was a hard time and we had bad moments but we moved on - Somebody know something about this???)

Nice. I just checked the playlist for the rock station here in Dallas. The Fixer is already off its rotation. The 4 PJ songs played today were Alive, Jeremy, Betterman, and YL

I remember when the fixer was released I checked the playlist and it was usually played in the middle of the night.

Ahh, you young PJ fans, you have to know your history! Just kidding dude. The San Francisco show was in the middle of some rough times for the band . . . they took alot of heat from fans, particularly in the Bay area . . . but, alas, they collected themselves together and stuck it out. Thank you Jack Irons . . .

06/24/95 - Golden Gate Park: Polo Fields: San Francisco, CA [140m]
    attendance: 53,440

enc: Peace and Love, Rockin' in the Free World
notes: Ed leaves the stage ill after seven songs. Neil takes the stage and the audience gets an impressive Mirrorball premier. The crowd behaves poorly.

06/26-27/95 - Del Mar Fairgrounds: San Diego, CA (canceled)
notes: The local Sheriff's Department forced cancellation of these shows due to security concerns. In fact, the remainder of this short tour is canceled; then the Milwaukee and Chicago dates are reinstated. Later the rest of the dates are rescheduled.

07/05/95 - The Justice Department announces that it is dropping the Ticketmaster investigation

"Just Breathe" jumps from #42 to #31 on Billboard's Rock Songs chart. "The Fixer" still hanging in at #8 after 14 weeks.

Yep, I came into San Fran for that show from Philly. My cousin was graduating from grade school and we were buds, so he got us tickets. There were 50,000 people there. It was an outdoor show that PJ organized without Ticket Master. Ed came out played 7 songs and said he was ready to pass out and left cause he wasn't feeling well. Neil Young came out and finished the show with the band. It blew, not Neil, but the fact that PJ isn't PJ without Ed. But, from that experience, Ed created Red Mosquito.
Here's a new demo called "in the fire":
