just got some inside info THEY BOOKED THE SPECTRUM TILL 2 AM ON THE 31st >>>>>

this is from a friend of mine that had backstage passes to lastnights hosw!!!!!!!!!!!

    I hope they sing no retreat no surreder...of course born to run would be awesome as well....It would be awesome if ed talks about bruce's history...starts singing thunder road and then bruce comes out during the song to finish it off :shock: Can you imagine how insane the crowd would be at that point?

    you people realize even if they have it booked til 2 am, it doesn't mean they will play until that time. I'd be shocked if it goes past 12:30 the absolute latest. Regardless, I wish I was there, it will be up there with the mansfield.

    I didn't believe it either, but based on the comments of E.V., security guards, and others...it looks like its gonna be a long one!

    I'm still debating flying out for the last two shows :o

    Edit: And 12:30 sounds more realistic than 2. State College was, at that time, the longest Pearl Jam show ever, and it went till about 12:30.

    Springsteen booked the final Giants Stadium show (final concert at GS ever) till 2:00 am, allegedly. He left the stage by 11:30 (albeit, he started at 8:15, for a 3 hour, 15 min. show).

    They are not playing till 2 - mark my words.

    Bruce cancelled a show the other night because of the unexpected death of his cousin. I can't imagine he'll be there Saturday night. I'd love it, trust me, but I feel like he won't be there now.

    That was a least 10+ years ago. People get older and stop slinging so many insults around. Bon Jovi is quite charity oriented, so maybe they're on the same page with that sort of thing.

    its hysterical, these are the EXACT same rumors that were all over the bruce message boards leading up to the final giants stadium show. "security guards said he'll play till 1am", "ushers are on call till 2am", "bruce got a permit to play till 1am", "bon jovi and billy joel are confirmed special guests". As you said, the show ended at 1130 and there were no special guests.

    Too funny, but at least with the pj rumors theres some truth since ed did mention playing till 2am last nite.

    Bruce has played shows that went on until 2/3 AM @ Giants stadium in the 80's We are talking 5.5 - 6 hrs in support of 1984's Born in the USA tour. So the rumors on his board were not as outlandish as here.
