    Got an LA 7/10/06 poster in the mystery sale. It looks alright, but I'm not a fan of the square shape. I'm more looking for shows I've been to, and I need DC'06 and DC'03 (the flag face, my first show). I'd also trade it for a Dusseldorf, cause I think it looks tight.

    Brother IZ's version is beautiful, Ed's is almost like that too. Just not quite. Amazing though.

    I have never heard this song before, and I just listened to both Iz's and Ed's/PJ's rendition.

    Wow. I really feel moved, that is an awesome song..

    To me it seemed more like a slow growing wave of recognition that eventually erupts.

    I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this (and Iz's version too) since then. Almost a greater memory than the cake toss...

    amazing energy at this show. Kelly Slater, Rob Machado and crew actually sat behind us, of course they all had backstage passes, but thanks for the nice seats 10c! i flew over from maui, where was living at the time, for the show. Oahu aint no Maui but still a great vibe and great venue. Ed took a whole birthday cake and chucked it out into the crowd...the crowd of course responded by hurling handfuls of the cake right back at ed! then he asked if we wanted any forks!

    elderly-->Hawaii '78-->better man-->RIDICULOUS VERSION OF PORCH! was the highlight for sure...in Hawaii Brudda Iz is a GOD so the whole arena was singing at the top of their lungs! very emotional for BOOM!
    mike was extra extra pumped this night!

    the screwed up part was that the folks running the merch tables were letting people buy as many of the posters as they wanted, fuck the one per customer rule. so the posters went lightning fast. the guy in front of me bought the last three! but he was cool enough to turn around and sell me one of his at cost. the poster i have framed actually came down off the back wall of the merch table...the very last one sold that night!
