So they didn't have a sports-themed shirt tonight right? Or did I somehow look right past it? I was really, really looking forward to a PJ/Flyers shirt :(

Nope, I was disappointed as well. I'm betting they're saving it for Friday and Saturday. Flyers Friday, Phillies Saturday?

Not bothered by the lack of sports theme shirtts. I really like the Tom Tomorrow poster shirt and the Taking Down The Spectrum two sided shirt. Good value for money IMHO.

I expect part 2 of the poster tonight and another tee shirt with the poster image on it instead of the sports team shirt. I don't know if the TT poster series is 2 parts or 4 parts.
I read somewhere someone thinks the TT posters may be four parts with images related to various decades each night.

While I did buy it, the "Taking down..." shirt looks like a parking lot shirt...I am hoping we get sports theme shirts for the rest of the shows.....
  • With as HUGE of a Sports town as this is, I can't see them not having the sports themed shirts...
  • Someone in another thread said that a representative at the merch booth said maybe Saturday for the sports tees. But even that sounded like it's still up in the air.

Whats the deal with posters? Have they been hard to get, or because of the presales has it become not such a pain in the ass?

Posters are definitely not a rarity anymore. They are producing plenty for anyone that wants one. Now if they would just do that with the sports-themed shirts...

Anyone bring their own poster tube? That was my plan. I also have this yoga mat carrier (its just a cord-type dealie with little plastic bits to hold the ends together) to tie onto the tube so i can wear it instead of carrying it around. I brought it to the Ed show in DC and had no probs getting in it and using it. Came in really handy and kept the hands free for drinks! See you Saturday!

The "Tearing Down the Spectrum" one. . .

If they didn't do the sports themed shirts on the first night, I highly doubt you will get them the rest of the 3 nights. They are probably just doing things differently on the coasts. LA got sport shirts the first night, then the 3 others. We never know the bands merchandising thinking, nor will we ever.

I like the wrecking ball shirt from the spectrum and think it is way better than the tacky sports themed shirts, IMO. We should be getting shirts designed around PJ's unique ideas and not those that are taken from sports themes and colors.

Poster tubes were available for a whopping two dollars at the merch booth. Also liked how there was a table with posters only and folks could purchase more than one, which speaks to the availability of posters .

Just a heads up the XL is a true XL. I can't stand the different sizing these t-shirt companies use these days. I'm hoping I can shrink the XL shirts I got last night.
