You reckon that sucks balls...I could only get reserved seating in the stands up with the spiders...what's with these venues/promoters not providing wheelchair spots closer to the stage.

I was in the moshpit for '95 and '98 at the old Ent Centre which was fuckin' awesome..scored EV's guitar pick in '95...but a car accident in 2002 (leaving my arms and legs all fucked up) has meant I'm up the back all the time...thankfully this venue isnt as big as Subi Oval...I had to squint just to see the screens on the side of the stage...let alone to see the guys on stage...

Anyways, here's hoping for an awesome vibe at the gig....

perhaps it is because they are being printed locally in Aus/NZ and the 10c wont have them in their hands to process orders and ship out

you would think that they could work it out, but it could be the reason

there is no email. filthy emailed the 10c asking if there would be one, that was the reply he got.

like i know it's a bit of a bummer, but we haven't been offered it before and people managed to deal with it. most venues should have cloak room facilities. just by one stick it in there collect it later.

is it really that big of a deal? like if 10 club said there was gonna be a pre sale, then changed the deal and said no well i could understand the out rage. but this is something we were never promised, it's only something they have just started doing for the u.s shows. it's not like it's been going on for years and all of a sudden 10c said, "no, fuck you aussies. no presale for you"

i think so people just assume and expect everything.

just in case this post got overlooked. i would imagine it would be the same in oz. it seems like everywhere they are selling tubes, so that helps....and if you can check your poster to reclaim later, even better. only bad point is that with these shows being GA, it's....get a poster or get the rail. hopefully you go with a friend who can hold you a spot and you buy posters for both of you. still not ideal, but doable. i will say that both tours in europe - 2006 and 2007, hell even canada and the gorge in 2005....i had ZERO issues getting a poster at any show. so hopefully you aussies will be just as lucky.

wow. what have you done for other tours? i know G.A is a little different but it all depends on how you want to look at it and what you want to do. did you want to be right in the mosh all night? were you hoping to hang onto the front barrier all night? were you happy to just stand back a little out of the main crowd? there must be cloak room facilities at ethiad for you to check some stuff into. what's more important to you, enjoying the show or spending all night worrying your poster might get crushed?

like if the poster means that much to you either check it and go hell for leather or hang on to it and stand out of the action a little.

if you are that worried, get some one who is not going to the show and may be in the city the day of the show buy merch and give it to them to take home with them. or rool it up and stash it some where and hope it's still there when you get back.


i think everyone is getting a little carried away about the no presale. we were never told there would be one, there hasn't been one before, everyone is just expecting it to happen cause it has happened else where.
