You can take the commuter rail from South Station to Mansfield. There may be shuttles from the train station to Gillette. Not far......believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

The North End is a cool place to walk around. You can get overwhelmed with all the Italian seafood places, but I would highly recommend Giacomo's! Little tiny place and you have to wait outside to get a table (usually), but the food is fantastic! The Fruiti de Mare is unbelievable!
Second Mike's Pastry for a cannoli. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!0 -

Berklee performance center is a great venue!
The Boston common is a great place for a stroll on a Sunday.....we ran into Roger Daltrey there!
The North End is amazing...huge lines for the pastry shops.....love the small Italian grocery stores!
