Is it a hassle to get to a Patriots game if we are staying in Boston?

You can take the commuter rail from South Station to Mansfield. There may be shuttles from the train station to Gillette. Not far......
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

The North End is loaded with Italian restaurants, many small and overpriced. Your best bet in the North End is a late night stroll for a cannoli at Mike's pastry.

The North End is a cool place to walk around. You can get overwhelmed with all the Italian seafood places, but I would highly recommend Giacomo's! Little tiny place and you have to wait outside to get a table (usually), but the food is fantastic! The Fruiti de Mare is unbelievable!

Second Mike's Pastry for a cannoli. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!

It would be a tough ticket against Miami. I think they run a train direct to Foxborough for games still. But its a hassle from the city, it would encompass your entire day...but you could tell her about all the upscale shops at Patriot Place, surrounding the stadium...maybe you go to the game and give her your credit card to shop for 3.5 hours.

How about Celts/Suns Fr Nov 6?
Right in the city, probably can find tix on a release a couple days prior to game. (There's alway Miley Cyrus at the Garden Mon 11/9 too, )
    This weekend we rock Portland

I do have more to say!

Newbury street is very cool...I like the mellow vibe there...and it was very close to our hotel.

The Fenway Park tour was great...the tour guide made it fun!

Abe & Louies char their steaks, even if you get it cooked medium!

Berklee performance center is a great venue!

The Boston common is a great place for a stroll on a Sunday.....we ran into Roger Daltrey there!

The North End is amazing...huge lines for the pastry shops.....love the small Italian grocery stores!

Who knew that Boston had som many historical sights!....a few more then L.A. :)
