I have to say I agree. Weezer is nothing special at all.
Although I wouldn't go as far as punching him in the face...maybe just keep him, or the band in general from making more records??? It's all radio, similar-sounding slop. (of course, this is just my opinion)

I listened to about half of the song on YouTube, and it's all really really bad, especially the one with Kenny G. You can look at the songs as jokes, but they're not very funny.
Weezer was one of my favorite bands back in the 90's. I played the hell out of the Blue Album and Pinkerton - ask anyone who knew me in college. When the Green Album came out, I didn't hear the same passion in Rivers' voice, although I thought the songs were still great, especially Island in the Sun. The guitar playing on Maladroit is truly stunning and I like the quirkiness of the songs. Make Believe was a big step down for the band, although about half of the songs are good if not great. I never bought the Red Album because Pork and Beans was just so-so and Troublemaker annoys the fuck out of me. The new album is not even worth the $3.99 price on Amazon.com.
