I suppose someone who has more time on their hands than I do could get all scientific and look up what the previous 3 hour plus shows have been, and where they have been and whether they had a few days off afterward or whatnot.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

I think we'll see a solid set list with a few rarities. It will go until 11:15 or so and we'll get about 31 songs. Is that Epic?
no that is not epic at all. i saw pj play 34 songs in jersey back in 06 at a dump of an arena and the show isn't talked bout being epic at all. what makes a show epic is the band and the crowd being on the same level and knowing something magical is happening at that moment in time. you can't force that or say this IS gonna be epic cause chances are it's not and people will be disappointed. i never go into a show saying this gonna be epic or legendary.

    what he said
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

  • I'm one of the ones that is going in with no expectations. Having not seen them since Lolla 07, I am simply looking forward to watching the band, period. The only possible way I could be disappointed is if nights 3 and 4 are very similar. I am definitely hoping that they mix up the sets between the last 2 nights, since that's when I'm going. And I'm sure they will, so I'm just looking forward to about 5 hours of my favorite band over the weekend!!

That said, if they decided to do a 3+ hour set, heavy on rarities, or with some kind of 'gimmick' in the setlist (play an album from start to finish!), or have crazy cool guest stars, who am I to not dream a little???

And that's why I'm glad to be sitting with you for those two shows!

Over/under of 3 hours? That's insane people - the Vegas line is clearly set at 2:40...

    Over/under 3hrs....No pushes

    I'll go over

Considering Fall back time later that evening, Saturday Night,Halloween Night, and last night at the Spectrum

If ther was NO opening act, i would say OVER. But ther is a opening act, so it won't go over 3 hours. Not to say that it was going to be epic or not, but does anyone think that it LESSENS the chance of being epic, with a opening band?
