Really?! I saw them support REM in August and thought they were really poor.
Lots of people seemed to be tone deaf... I mean 'like them' though
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
I dunno, maybe they don't translate well in a big venue. I have my qualms with them, but I'm a big fan of the song-writing and vocals and the overall sound, though in many ways they could be more ambitious about that. Really, I'd like to see them learn a thing or two from PJ, because I think they have a lot of untapped potential.
