Eddie ESPN interview?

At the end of Sportscenter, during the Top-10 plays, right after a play involving Kenny Mayne and Justin Timberlake, something is said and at first I thought they said something like "Eddie Vedder called out Kenny at a recent Pearl Jam show" but I think they might have actually said, "Eddie Vedder caught up with Kenny at a recent Pearl Jam show" which I hope means it was a taped interview. This would be pretty awesome if there was an Ed interview on Sportscenter at some point soon, and especially if it is with Kenny Mayne since he gives such entertaining interviews. Anyways, something to keep an eye on. The last edition of this particular SportsCenter is starting right now, 8:00 AM EST/5:00 PST, so if someone wants to tune in the last 10 minutes and see what was really said, that would be cool.

    its possible. Kenny was at the Hartford 2008 PJ show as well as the EV solo show in NJ in 2008 so maybe its taped from then?

    Isn't there always a Kenny Mayne segment within the ESPN pregame show sundays (11-1)? Maybe it will be in there? Or his show Mayne Street if that still exists.

    I believe that your first guess was right...I don't think there is an interview coming.

    yeah, it was Neil Everet. He must be a big PJ fan because I've heard him mention them several times. He definitely said, "called out". Does that mean he called him out on something he said? Or he called him out on stage with them? I'm pretty sure he said it was in LA too.

    Not to mention Kenny Mayne is a Washingtonian. He hails from the great city of Kent...about 10 miles south of Seattle.
