I would hope all of the days in Philly are sight seeing days! I don't understand spending the day in the parking lot drinking beer.

    Liberty Bell = boring
    Independence Hall = awesome

there's a castle in philadelphia near the art museum. it's eastern state penitentiary and it's an old creeeepppy prison. obviously no longer operational. around halloween time they make it into a haunted house which is crazy. it's creepy enough without the attractions in there.

maybe if you take the day tour before the haunted house you can film? not sure about the night time. it gets really packed and it's extremely popular so order tickets online first

isn't the Eastern State Pennetentiary used on MTV's Fear...that show back in the early 2000's where people would go to these haunted locations and perform tasks...i think ESP was used in an episode...

checking it out. would perfer night time visiting. daytime prison tours are not scary at all.
  • well it's still kinda creepy and they might let you videotape. like i said the night they make it a haunted house attraction around halloween with people jumping out at you and stuff. don't want you to get scared and drop it :)

We are going with the kids, and we are going back home on the 29th and then driving down again on the 30th. We definitely will be going to the zoo to see the new aviary (it's very nice). We also plan to go to the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and either the Academy of Natural Sciences or the Franklin. We are geeks and we are proud. :)

There is tons of stuff in Philly, depending on what you like

    I would suggest

    the Franklin Institute

    http://www2.fi.edu/

    the Constitution Center

    http://constitutioncenter.org/

Franklin Square Park (nice place for lunch if not too chilly, miniature golf, just a nice place to sit for a bit)

The Poe house is directly across the street from where i am this very second. He's not from here I don't think, but did live here for a while.

And the Rocky statue is at the Art Museum, I think it's back there again, they've moved it a few times, but i'm pretty sure that's where it is now
