Two weeks away!

Trying to plan this all out

Anyone know how much $$ parking in the outdoor lots by the Spectrum usually is?

Thanks

I wanna say we usually pay $10-$15. You might want to think about SEPTA (public trans) though, especially for the Friday/Saturday shows, as the Sixers and Flyers play next door, respectively - though the Flyers play in the afternoon on the 31st. Also, there's potential for the Phils if (when!) they get to the Series.

I don't follow sports at all... so I'm the last to know. I thought Philly lost recently and that cut them out of WS... no?
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Phillies just beat my Rockies, so no...they are moving on to the next round. I am curious about the parking as well. I scored Radisson the last 3 shows and I'm told there's a metro line that picks up nearby and takes you to the arena. Not sure how late it goes.

well if your are driving, Id park in the spectrum lot no matter what the cost (Id guess $20)
tailgate in the lot will be loads of fun

Its normally $10-15 but knowing the spectrum they might suck this for all its worth and charge $20... but it wont be more than that
  • I always get the Premium Parking.
Easy in, easy out and it's already paid for.

  • I purchased VIP parking from a connection I have for all 4 shows. I feel better with all the sporting events going on.
  • How do you get the premium parking? I don't think the 10 club gives you that option when you order tickets.

I was there last night for Bruce Springsteen and it was $12...I think that's what it usually is

Where exactly is the premium parking, and how can someone purchase it?

Here's a parking map I found on the NBA website:

It looks like the good parking is by the other arena.

we have some parking maps that might be a little more helpful in the Wishlist Philly Pre Party thread:

I think Parking Lot G or H may be VIP...and I think you can buy it from Comcast

I've never gone wrong with the Premium Parking.
It'll cost you about $10 more per event, but well worth it IMO.

HERE'S A LINK for Wachovia Center Premium Parking.
It's just like purchasing tickets. Find the date then search for tickets.

I wonder if they will tow my car away if I leave it there overnight Tue and take the train back to my hotel since I'll be back the next night. $12 is a shitload cheaper then what it's going to cost to park near the hotels uptown.

You might want to call the venue to ask. Make up some scenario like "I just got stuck out in the lot and can't get my car towed by my insurance company until tomorrow. Are you going to tow it way or is it safe to leave it?"

It's not an entirely bad idea if you can get away with it. If they say they won't tow it, on the night of the show, just leave a note in the windshield with something like "car stalled picking it up tomorrow".

Just as long as there aren't 100s of you trying this! lol!

If you can't have the car removed that night, they will have it removed for you.
You can not leave a car in the parking lot overnight regardless of the circumstances.
