I saw a video of them doing their own version of "Not for You" (i happened upon it completely by accident. I promise) and I see that it's the day of "Stupid, Terrible band" vs Pearl Jam....so, have at it.

Exactly, I have been hearing this term Juggalo for awhile now (I work with at risk teens) and would love to hear YOUR definition of this term....and regardless how in the f%$# does this make you any more credible when it comes to what music is quality or shit! By the way, most of the "juggalos' I know think ICP is a JOKE! (no pun intended)

icp is one of the worst "bands" i've ever had the misfortune of listening to. Most of the time if someone likes a band that I don't, I can still appreciate why that person might like that band. I understand that musical tastes vary but ICP doesn't fit in that rule, because they are total shit and anyone that likes that garbage should really get their ears checked. There is no excuse for liking ICP...none

No KISS = No Pearl Jam...Mike, Stone, Jeff, and Matt (most likely Ed too) have all referenced KISS as an influence. Now, that doesn't mean that people who like Pearl Jam should like KISS...but I'm just saying that KISS has some value. ICP does not.

ICP's whole shtick is based on the glam/over the top/shock factor/etc aspect of Kiss. In the case of Creed: A great band influenced garbage. With Kiss and ICP: Sh*t begat sh*t. You may disagree, but that is how I see it.

Some of the guys in PJ might like Kiss, but you can't say no Kiss = no Pearl Jam. Maybe no Who or Stones, but not Kiss.

Some of you may already know, I am an ICP fan. I have been for many years.

For those who don't know, Juggalos and Juggalettes are fans of ICP and other acts from the label 'Psychopathic Records'.

I've known Juggalo's who have attended ICP fan meet ups and been to several shows within one tour, just like PJ fans. One particular friend went to university to study English Literature and creative writing... in case you're missing the point, he's a very intelligent man.

I know that ICP aren't even a 'band' and they're not technically the greatest music act in the world, far from it, but I like it. I own 10 of their albums, the six joker cards being my favourites. I understand that they're not to everyone's taste but all music is subjective and all opinions are valid.

Whoever said in this thread that ICP is about shock/theatrics/glam/over the top, you are absolutely correct. The same as the likes of Kiss and Marilyn Manson. Millions of people are obsessed with Kiss and thousands with Manson, there is nothing wrong with this. One person's Pearl Jam or Rolling Stones is another's ICP or Kiss, we're all different people with different opinions. This doesn't mean that any of the named acts are 'shit'.

I consider myself quite an astute person and certainly not stupid. I have a ranging music taste from ICP, Kiss and Christina Aguilera right through to Gershwin, Pearl Jam, Bellowhead, Hank Williams and Cannibal Corpse... I find it insulting that ICP fans have been referred to in this thread as 'meth addicts' and 'stupid'. That is a very sweeping remark, it's unfounded and wrong. Opinions ARE valid, but insults are not.

I'm not gonna get involved in the whole business of whether or not ICP suck ass. I'm in this thread since I often find myself fascinated with why people prefer/follow specific musical acts.

But... what does that sentence even MEAN?
