I am going with daughter to the 10/28 and wife to the 10/30 - driving from VT and being a tourist in Philly on 10/29!!!
This will be show number 2 and 3 for me and a first for them

That week is going to be crazy. I will be at three of the Pearl Jam shows (I don't have a ticket for the 30th.... yet). And Halloween i will be going to the Flyers game at 1 and then walking right across the parking lot to Pearl Jam.

Outdoor preparties that have the greatest auction merchandise ever
Possible special guest/guests showing up during any of the shows
The closing down of one of america's finest & most storied arena's ever.
The Halloween Costumes that fans will be sportin!!!
Got the camera ready to capture all the costumes i can shoot.
Cant wait to see what the band will be wearing!!!
Cant wait to see the 4 show posters they have,especially the
halloween night one.Was only able to preorder the halloween show
poster,due to limited funds when they went on sale,so i need to
buy the 1st 3 nights there,unfortunately.They better have tubes for
sale,like in chicago & seattle.
Gotta try and get the 4 sports themed shirts too!
Maybe they will make a special halloween night shirt,or even
better yet,a special commemorative t-shirt that has all 4 nights
on it!
Oh,the possibilities are endless
I wont get my hopes up to high,though.If we get any special
merchandise,great.If we just get what every other city has gotten,
thats cool too.
It would be cool if the sports team themed shirts were a different
team all 4 nights too.
Would love a flyers,eagles,phillies & sixers shirt!!!
Hope they dont do like they did in LA.
Only 2 lakers shirts and 2 dodgers shirts.
They must not of been able to get the licensing to do the
other LA teams,like the kings or clippers.Who knows.
I'll take what i can get,though.
I need to buy a bad religion shirt,since i skipped out on getting
one in chicago.And i could use another social distortion shirt too.
This is going to be a very expensive week!!!

The reason Philly got 4 shows is because it is a great honor for Pearl Jam to close The Spectrum. I was honestly shocked that they were given the opportunity to do it. I thought it would have been Bruce Springsteen or The Dead (The Grateful Dead played the Spectrum 53 times!!! and were the only band to play at the Spectrum in every decade of it's existence, and even had a banner hanging from the rafters. However it was taken down and given to the band at The Dead's final Spectrum show back in May so it won't be there for these PJ shows.) Pearl Jam certainly realizes that this is a very special occasion, it's not every day that they get to close such a storied venue. These shows are going to be very special.
