Eddie's Solo tour was magical!

Man.... I'm I the only one who found Ed's solo tour "magical"? I saw him at the Tower in Philly both nights and can't help but think back to how great they were. To the point that I'm bracing myself to be a little disappointed for the 28th and 30th shows (shows I will be going to) because I don't think they will match the intimacy experienced at during his solo's tour.

Anyone out there feel a little like me?

The Philly EV Shows (especially night 2) were truly magical but you cant compare the EV vs PJ. Both are different entities and are both very special in their own ways. The Philly shows will just be the end of an amazing 2009 for those in the Philly area fortuante enough to get their double doses of EV solo and then PJ.

I don't know ... I am not really looking to be intimate that with Ed ... ;)

I saw Ed solo in Vancouver (I happened to be on internship there at the time), and while it was pretty awesome, I kept wishing Mike and Stone and Matt and Jeff would show up. PJ has always felt like a cohesive unit to me, rather than Ed on the one hand and the rest of the guys on the other. Ed does his best to prove me wrong lately, it seems, with all the solo spots and taking over much of the first encore, with the band falling by the wayside for a bunch of Yo Yo Ma wannabes ... But I digress. I'll take Pearl Jam, the band, anyday.
