    they've taken turns over the past few years, right now one is at the house with the ex, he's working and going to school for Criminal Justice, and the other has his own apartment, like me...

    1 is full Jack Russell Terrier, and the other is JRT & Chihuahua mix

    Yes, when we're home. When we're out the are gated in a way that they get the kitchen, hall, foyer and front porch room (in summer, no front porch room in winter). No free ranging upstairs, in the bathrooms, or the living or dining rooms when we're out. Mainly because Sweet Pea on occasion likes to carefully select a book from the bookshelf and shred it into tiny pieces. Sailor and Tessie are both very good about leaving things alone.

    Is your house spotlessly clean, fairly neat, sort of a mess, a complete disaster, or someplace you're too ashamed to show anyone?
