what costume do you remember as a favorite from your childhood?
  • ClaireackClaireack Posts: 13,561
None really. Don't know if we did it much over here then. But I have had a great time making ones for my son. Did a great werewolf one year, and a mummy Bart Simpson another, loved it!!

Do you make something edible out of the pumpkin insides when you make your lantern?

Oh, god no. I think the taste of pumpkin is nasty.

Are you aware that the slimy insides of a pumpkin don't jive well with a garbage disposal?

When you're old enough to be intimidating toward the adults giving out the candy.

    Worst trick you ever played?

I guess the worst would be dropping pumpkins off the overpasses on the interstate on passing cars. I was just a witness and scared to death that someone was going to get hurt. But you know how kids are. Peer pressure.

    How about you?
  • Im too tired to think right now

    Do you have any kids?

I like putting up a Christmas tree. I don't like shopping.

Do you start early on your shopping?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,412
Yes, but I have a rule that I don't start shopping for Christmas or decorating for it until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Having to wait makes it more fun for me.

What about you, do you have any routines built around the holidays?
    &&&&&&&&&&&&&&
  • number1PJfannumber1PJfan Posts: 3,748
Well, I always put up a live tree so I have to wait to do that. I am a procrastinator so I always wait on my shopping. :?

Do you have a real or a fake tree?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,412
I always have a real tree because I love the way they smell.

Do you think the convenience of a fake tree is worth more than the pine scent?

  • number1PJfannumber1PJfan Posts: 3,748
As long as it is within my power I will never have a fake tree. I despise them.

Do you buy your fresh tree or cut your own?
  • fresh.. im going to bed goodnight :D

Is christmas your fav holiday ?

It depends. Last year we bought one that was already cut but in previous years (when we lived elsewhere) we've cut them ourselves at a farm.

Do you live in an area with lots of tree farms?

  • number1PJfannumber1PJfan Posts: 3,748
There are some. We live in an area that cedars grow native so, Christmas tree farms are in more in the Mountains or more toward NC. None really close.

Do you have a shopping list started already?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,412
    No, not yet.

I need to go to bed now, do you mind if I say "Goodnight"? ;)

Nighty night--I should go as well.

What is on the agenda for Monday, this first day of November?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
A presentation summing up the past year's work, a meeting, and catching up on stuff that's been piling up on my desk due to a couple of complex cases.

Do you do anything particular to get through Mondays?
