I don't know ... I'm really pale so even in our summers I tend to hang out in the shade  ... I just find being hot uncomfortable ... at least if I'm cold I can add another layer :P ... I used to hate beach holidays as a kid ... I'm clearly not designed for hot weather

Did any of your friends do the travelling around Europe thing?

You would be fine. Yeh a couple of my good mates went over there for about 18 months, lived in Scotland for the majority of that time.

Me however, well, when they were over there, I was in the 'too busy getting drunk, spending all my money' faze. Now I am in a 'work, study, save, go out every now and then, then work, study, save'

I really want to go, but if I do, that would just about see all my savings go, and I am trying to save to buy a house (which are pretty darn expensive here. The other thing is, I wouldn't want to go long term cause I have two little nephews and another niece or nephew on the way, and I love seeing them too much. They change a lot in a week let alone a year.

But I really do want to travel, the furthest I have been was Perth :( :( But I want a house, and I will never get ahead in life if I dont save.

    Have you traveled much?

Not a huge amount ... the US a few times (and lived there for a bit) ... and then various places in Europe.

My nephews are overseas ... Skype can be your friend ;) ... although I too am saving for a flat ... prices here are crazy.

Where would be your first overseas trip?

I guess Europe. I have planned several times to go. But as I said earlier, I weigh up what I need, house or holiday. House wins :( .

So, are you going to be following the Ashes this year?

Not really. Cricket is not my thing. Any sport where a team can pray for rain is daft to me.

    Favourite sport?
  • pjfan31pjfan31 Posts: 7,335
    Probably have 3.

Cricket, AFL and Rugby league. Used to be cricket hands down, but can't really split these three.

yeh lots and lots. Mainly cricket, been to int league, union and Soccer (football)

(and to answer black, I was in one 110,000 at the old sydney olympic stadium. It was some sort of record. But they have since re-modeled it and it fits 80,000 odd now.
