No, it's understandable and not sad because it's exactly what we all think. Hindsight vision is 20/20, right? :)

Do you have a hard time letting things go?

Not really, at least I think I don't

Are the pooches geared up for the weekend?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
If by geared up you mean sleeping 23 1/2 hours a day, yes. If you mean have we practiced in the past two weeks while our trainer's been away, no.

Do you sometimes do something not as well as you'd liked, and realize that, yes, after all, you do need to train for it?

All the time. I am the queen of procrastination. Like going to bed...

Why do I stay up till 1:00 a.m. every night and then fight with my alarm clock every morning at 6:00?

it's the urge to prove to yourself 'I can still stay up late...did it before...'

or am I the only one?

Unlost dogs mentioned in the Courtney thread that she had an outfit just like that and she wore it to work. Who wants to call her bluff?

Yea DOA, we are all good. I think I need an abbreviated name...

I haven't seen the outfit. I am going to have to go find this thread.

Maybe I could be #1... what do you think?

Housework, catching up with friends, time with family :D

Is 2.34pm too early to go to bed?
  • JukeeJukee Posts: 4,500
I think so but it's never to early to take a nap.

Is it wrong to put your head on your desk at work and take a little catnap?

Not at all, but you might get away with it more if you stick a picture of an eyeball on each eyelid and prop yourself up in the chair.

    Do you snore?
  • JukeeJukee Posts: 4,500
Nope, not that I know of. Nobody's ever told me that I do.

Do you sleep with ear plugs?

Ever slept with one of those eyeshield things on?
  • JukeeJukee Posts: 4,500

Ever almost fall asleep while driving?

Yes, a long time ago. So now I'm careful to prepare and if I'm really tired, I'll pull over and catnap.

    Good morning everyone!

    How are you doing today?

I'm smiling, girlfriend! :D I've stewed for 24 hours about my slacker coworker and on my walk in this morning decided to move forward. I hate when I start brooding about things like that, it becomes intrusive and spoils my whole attitude. So, gorgeous walk in beautiful 60ish degree sunshine, and now my mind is clear again.

    What's up for the weekend?

Happy to hear you sorted things out. I have the same issues with my co-worker. There's no point dwelling on it, you'll just feel miserable all the time and take it out on people you love.
So this weekend I have nothing planned. Hubby works Sunday so it kinda ruins the weekend.

Hey did you know that this August has 5 Sunday's, 5 Monday's and 5 Tuesday's and this only happens every 800 years or something?

    Never, I work 7:30 to 3:30 or 8-4. I haven't worked a weekend since I was a teenager.

Ever have to work graveyard shifts?

Did a whole year of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Including every other weekend. Sucked donkey balls.

Do you ever find yourself trying to put similies into work emails? I really would like the rolling eyes one for some of the emails I have to send.

No, it's a semi-private office and we've strategically arranged it so we can't see each other's screens.

Do you have a window in your office?
