I'd have to say somewhere on the east coast...New York/Boston...I've met many a fantastic people on here from that area. Not too many West coast people here...even from Seattle which I find a bit odd.

Whare are you, and where would you like to visit?

  • I'm in Indiana. I've only been in New York en route to visiting Niagra Falls when I was about 10. I'd love to experience it more. I've been to Boston, Baltimore, DC many many times. Still more to see but I am really curious about New York.

Have you ever taken a train cross country? Would you be willing?
  • number1PJfannumber1PJfan Posts: 3,748
No, I have not and most definitely would.

Do you wish there was more opportunity to train travel in the U.S.?
  • Oh, there is.. there is... you just have to have money and spend a long time planning it.

What is your favorite thing to do in Tennessee?

We live in E. TN near the Smokey Mnts. That is where we go a lot. Hiking, backpacking, camping and what not.

Have you ever visited the Smokey Mnts?
  • Yes, oh yes. I used to just melt when I would cross the state line. I wanted to live there. Spent my honeymoon there.... "never go back, you can never go back". Sometimes my mind speaks in lyrics.

What song is that quote above from?

it's only 5 right now...Mr Z likes me to wait endlessly for him to come home, then eat with him. He is presently mentoring a 'troubled youth'

Did you have a nice ride on the train?

I was listening to the Boston boot, so yes, it was a very nice train ride, thanks. Not to crowded. That will end next week when all the college students are back and the trains are pinned.

Is Mr. Z in the psychiatric field?

possibly or just a little on the perverted side.

Does it ever cross your mind that someone might not think you are a female when returning a post?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Yes, for the first couple of months I was posting, I think most people thought I was a guy. They just assume that, unless you have an obviously female username or avatar. Probably because most of the 10C members are guys. I remember getting a funny PM from someone who wrote, "Wait, you're a girl?!?"

Does anyone here know your real name?

    Jennifer--Jenny for short

It is as if the cloak of anonymity has been stolen, no?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
It has, and now you're totally screwed because with an unusual name like Jennifer someone from the boards is bound to steal your identity now...

My first name is not Carol. Carol was the name I was supposed to have, what my parents agreed on. Then when they asked my father what my name was, he came up with something completely different. (Those were the days when the mom's were heavily sedated and didn't recall much _ if anything _ about delivery, and fathers stayed in the waiting room and smoked.)

Would you change your first name if you could do it easily?

yeah, it's a regular name but there are 2 songs with the name in it...I don't think it fits my personality well.

What would you change your name to?

"Stone." No, wait, that probably won't work for me. "Clementine." I think that's a great name and I am holding it in reserve for our next female coonhound. Or "Delilah" so guys in bars would sing, "my, My, MY DELILAH" all the time.

If there are two songs featuring your name... is your name "Brandy," "Caroline," "Cherie," "Georgia," "Gloria," "Jane," "Maria," "Mary," "Sue/Susie," "Sally," "Stella," "Tessie" or "Wendy?"
I hope it's not Crazy Mary

No, still Jenny. And yes it is so wicked rare that I don't think that I could come up with more than 20 songs with it in the title.

Well, it was going to be "Sunshine Cleaning" but again I've stayed online wayyy to long and now it's time to let the pooches out and head to bed. Frigging Courtney Love Singing Jeremy thread...

No, I haven't. I have uninstalled the audio to my computer somehow. :(

Are you any good at fixing problems you create with your computer?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
No, but thankfully I haven't had any with the Mac. Except I don't know how to download video from my video camera...

(And the Courtney Love "Jeremy" video is best watched without audio. Trust me on this.)

Do you have any outfits like hers?

    I am seriously doubting it.

Do you think Courtney Love should have stayed in retirement?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Retirement, rehab, reclusiveness. Any of these would have worked to her advantage, I'm thinking.

Have you ever read any of the PJ/Nirvana/Courtney stuff?

I think it's normal... but although all my choices weren't good, they were important along the journey. I wouldn't go back and change anything.

What would you go back and change?

I think I would enjoyed my 20-23 years more, I was a little uptight and didn't party as much as I did too much of that from 16-19 and I would have read girls better and got laid more and had a better relationship

    is that understandable or sad?
