We have Sam's club. No Costco.

Do you ever watch King of the Hill?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
I LOVE COSTCO...I buy everything there, but I go on Sunday morning, cuz everybody is at church, so it's fairly slow

Have you been to Costco in the US?

    Do you like Olive Garden?

Eh.... Be careful in the bathroom at the Costco and watch those puddles of peepee

Does costco sell in bulk like sam's club? I think they are basically the same thing.
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
Yes, you can buy 10 gallon buckets of mayo...actually Costco has better deals than Sam's club, and they make a lot of their own products.

    I love Olive Garden....mmmmm
What else do you want to see in the US?

I want to see Hawaii. The only state I have not been to.

    Were you asking me?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
any person...I haven't been to Hawaii either, would love to go, I told Mr. Z we need to see the nation in our camper just so I can have that cool US map painted on it and paint in all the states we visit....

    is that really cheezy?

I guess it depends on your age. Well... maybe not. It might just be cheesy no matter your age. But hell, who cares?

Are you taking the camper this weekend or do you tent camp as well?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
no, Mr. z felt sorry for me the last time we tent camped (we were out in Montana and it was 85 we went to bed, and woke up to a foot of snow on the ground) I just go camping in the camper...we also have 2 dogs, so the camper makes it nice.

do you go tent or camper camping?

Always a tent. Been on the fence about a camper for a while. We have camped in all temperatures as well. From near zero to near 100. It is the extremes that get us talking about the camper.

Are they some kind of Tennessee serial killers? In that case I probably wouldn't like them because I have cousins in Nashville and I'm very fond of them.

    When is betime tonight?

I have a completely wide-open day tomorrow. Not a meeting on the horizon. Everybody seems to be away on vacation. So yeah, I'll be up at 6 and in by 8:30 or so.

    You?

Do your dogs sleep in your bedroom, do you wake up with them on the bed?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
They sleep upstairs with us. Usually all three start out on our bed, but Sweet Pea is quickly offended that we expect her to share the pillows and she leaves in a huff, only to return promptly at 6 a.m. to inform us that it is now time to serve her breakfast.

Last night Mr. Unlost was at the firehouse and all three stayed with me. I woke up twice with Sweet Pea's paw in my eye socket.

She really, really does not like to share pillows.

Sailor and Tessie just chill and ignore her. Sometimes Sailor goes into the other bedroom, but Tessie always, only and ever sleeps curled up between my left arm and my side. Has since she was a little puppy.

If you have dogs, do you let them sleep on your bed?

Yup Ozy, my bulldog, always starts out on the floor, well his heated bed, then jumps up and curls between my legs, around 6:30 he gets between us and starts backing up so i usually wake up to his ass, which i then smack and he jumps off, back to spooning with the wife for 15 minutes until the alarm goes off.

Do you get used to mr Unlosty Dogs being gone? or do you forget and wake up sometimes expecting him when he's at work?

a few, never a good ending, kept one alive for a year and a half once. Whats your record?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Very used to him being gone, sometimes for long stretches. Usually he travels all over during hurricane season as he's a FEMA guy. The September after Katrina he was home for a total of 3 days. All the rest of the month he was in Mississippi and New Orleans.

And BJ/PD: We have a goldfish in our outside pound who's been there for going on 10 years now. There are about 12 of them.

Do you spend much time apart from your SO?
