    Yup two of them and my great grandma was alive until I was 24

    So many. I had the best grandma ever. Soft, squishy hugs, chocolate chip cookies, gardening and canning real food. The yearly "April fools day" phone call... When I was little she used to call before school and make up some crazy story that I knew was made up but I would just go along with it. Finally she would say "April fools!" I would pretend to be shocked. She would pretend that she thought I was really fooled. When I moved away for college and then later even after I got married, I would call her and do the same. Even near the end of her life when she was very forgetful we played this yearly game. I miss her.

    :) what a great story about your grandma!

    Yes, whenever I get the chance in the summer.. My parents are hard working people and they make their own jam; blue berry, lingonberry, cloudberry etc.

    Monet - he has a painting called 'Path through the Irises' that I saw in NY at the Met and it took my breath away can't really explain it but wow.

    People say so all the time. I'm not sure how I feel about that "wow! You're 40! I can't believe it you look so young!" As if 40 is suddenly approaching old age. :rollingeyesguy ;)
